Another successful sushi expedition! Sushi Den was good, and this round, Sushi Hai, was just as delicious (edamame, rainbow roll, yellowtail roll, salmon with avocado roll - all split) but with slightly odd waitstaff. And a matching odd drink called the Blueberry Muffin Top, which was ill-advised at best.

The restaurant is located in the Highlands neighborhood, which I’m now kind of obsessed with. We termed it the West Village of Denver - complete with “no more high rises” picket signs! There were tons of cute little stores, and it’s right near downtown and the REI/riverparks…getting to drive by the skyline just felt right.

I think I know where to move next year! (I cannot believe I’m even mentioning moving already).

It was also delightful to realize that the majority of the people I now spend time with (in person or via technology) are really sane, intelligent, funny, wise, caring, thoughtful, understanding, and low drama. Editing for the win!
